Like most October days in Victoria, the day the Ryan and Christina got married was especially soggy. But no amount of rain could put a damper on this beautiful couples joy. They got married in the core of downtown at Glad Tidings Pentecostal church (where I attend!) and I'm still awestruck by how Christina transformed the church stage using furniture, rugs and florals. Beyond decor, what stood out to me the most on this day was the unwavering joy of Ryan and Christina. It is so easy to stress about rainy days (I'm not going to lie, I was stressed about it myself) but I never once heard Christina or Ryan complain. They made the most out of the weather, willing to stand in the rain for far too long, and swish through puddles on our way to bridal portraits. Their focus was on each other, their love, their loved ones, and their thankfulness to Jesus for bringing them together. Their positivity permeated the atmosphere and the entire day was filled with endless joy and laughter. I am so thankful to have had the honour of capturing this wedding story and I am so excited to share them on the blog today.
Big thanks to my second shooter and best friend Tamara for assisting me in capturing this day and another big shout out to all of the vendors and talented individuals involved.
